Microsoft - think long and hard about this; how come Mozilla can launch new versions of their browser time and again without fucking me up the arse compatibility-wise and how come, every time you launch a new browser it's all hands to the pumps as everything looks fucking different again?
Microsoft's "new" Internet Explorer 8.0 has a "feature" that allows it to act like one of it's older siblings. Naturally, this makes IE8 cripplingly large bloatware++ that is all but useless on smaller-scale devices like MIDs and netbooks.
I've been happy with my 3.5 experience thus far. I've had to hack some of my older extensions, and naturally I went straight into about:config and restored the old 1.0 tab functionality that I prefer. HTML5 video looks cool, as do SVG-related enhancements.
