Tube Drivers

I'm sure you'll join me in applauding the brave men and women that drive London's tube trains.

Who could not support their annual demands to work even less hours for even more pay? And quite right that they hold millions of people in the capital to ransom if they don't get their way.

And what a fine champion they have in the shape of Bob Crow - a man of balance, charisma, class, intellect, pragmatism and honour.

I won't hear that their job is minimally skilled - I don't care if they don't even have to fucking steer. Neither will I countenance complaints that, whenever possible, they'll deceitfully claim that they're campaigning on the grounds of health and safety.

And if they time their strikes to cause the maximum upset and disruption? All the more power to them I say.

Let's hear it for the best paid operators of a start/stop button.
