... and probably Apple in general.
I'm sure everyone is bored of me moaning about Apple/iTunes but fucking hell. Every time I get embroiled in their shit - man does it piss me off.
All I wanted to do was download the
Scrimshire album. Shock horror on any number of counts. Me, buying music for a start!
Scrimshire is the wonderfully talented Adam Scrimshire's band and it just so happens that my also-talented brother-in-law and his wife also feature on some of the tracks and play live with them.
Anyway, aware that the new album is available on iTunes I thought I'd roll my sleeves up and get on with it. Easy enough to find the album so that's OK.
Click 'buy album'. Please confirm the terms and conditions. Get returned to the album page. Eh? Have I bought the album? Have they remembered my payment details from my last (tormented) purchase?
Click 'buy album' again. Please input your payment details. Phew. At least I haven't paid twice. Input my details. Boom. Back to the album page. Now have I bought the album? No evidence either way.
Click 'buy album' again. Surely I've bought it twice. Still, the money's going to a good cause. I'll take the heat. I now think I've bought it. Or have I. It's not downloading. Jesus.
Click 'buy album' again. Finally. Some evidence of downloading. In fact, nice. 3 multi-threaded downloads. Man, my PC is slow though. Hold on. iTunes is now using 86% of my available processor resource - downloading 3 tunes off t'internet. Unbelievable.
Anyway, buy the
album!
And, fuck all this shit (as the kids say apparently); my sister-in-law is famous!
