Still too long I'm afraid.

Noah's Ark. Jesus. I'd have swept that under the carpet I think. You'd have thought that even the most uncynical reader would suspect something was awry with the idea of a big boat with all the creatures in.

The main question i think is this, is the bible a factual account, or a kind of hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.

Take your account of Jensen Button, if someone read that account in 2000 years time what would they think of him?

It is after all one persons opinion or slant on that character or situation, in 2000 years time nobody could say for definate, because you need to present facts and more importantly evidence that something has happened or is a certain way.

So my point is (and I am not necessarily talking about the bible) that without facts backed by evidence one cannot say that after a period of time something existed or happened, or of course did'nt.
