The headline reads "BUTTON HAILS DAWN OF NEW ERA WITH BAR".
Surely it’s the continuation of the same mediocre era that we've all been witnessing since he joined BAR in 2003?
“Button, who will partner Rubens Barrichello at BAR next season, said: "Definitely this is where it all starts.””
Hmmm, it all started with them three seasons ago mate, and you still haven’t won a race.
His first “era” commenced with Williams in 2000. Not even a podium to show.
His second “era” of mediocrity began with Renault (nee Benetton) in 2001, which he managed to string out for two years before the management got bored of 5th places.
As an interesting aside, it took him two attempts to pass his driving test. I’m pretty sure he would cite bad luck as the reason if asked.
