A common argument defending the unending erosion of our privacy is a tired and poor one - the old "if you're got nothing to hide".

This is quickly rebuffed. Ask the same person if they'd like to share their bank statements or their medical records. What's wrong - nothing to hide? That's different huh! How about some naked pictures?

Anyway, who'd have thought that the CEO of Google, Eric Schmidt would agree with such an unwholesome sentiment?

Bloody Willows. And bloody Google for that matter. Of the 2,000+ posts and comments they've chosen a rather unrepresentative bit of text.

If I was applying for a job as a fluffer I'd probably do ok!
