We have switched the Aga off at home due to the resent hot weather and have had to revert to modern kitchen equipment, like a kettle.
One piece of equipment that we were missing was a toaster so Jan did her internet research and came up with this little beauty, which I have to say I was a little bit cynical about.
Well....... How wrong I was!
It goes a bit like this.
Pop your bread in
Put some water the heating pan. (measuring jug supplied)
Crack egg in pan
Switch on
Water heats up and poaches the egg
Toast pops 30 seconds before the egg is cooked, giving you enough time to butter your hot toast
Egg now cooked to perfection.
Put egg on toast and enjoy
Genius!
I think this toaster has overtake the ???light sensitive automatic chicken coop door opener??? as my favourite gadget
