A rather amusing reversal!
"Fred Munk yesterday lost his job for excessive perl programming. Munk was hired for categorization and review of links to pornographic websites for Yahoo's Erotica department. He allegedly spent more time programming perl-scripts than looking for porn."

Richard Whitehurst is a Columbus-based artist who made his mark on the Ohio scene by showing at the William Strunk Jr. Museum of Contemporary Art in Akron and internationally regarded galleries such as Alexandria Asheton Gallery and Seward Projects Space. He was the 2006 recipient of an Akron Culture Committee fellowship and has quickly become a seminal figure in the often overshadowed Rustbelt regional art scene, rapidly moving from sculpture and installation to more challenging situational based work that would make Nicolas Bourriaud???s head spin.
In fact, his new controversial work, THE RAPE TUNNEL, which is set to go on view at Columbus??? 4D Gallery on October 30th, has come under fire from Columbus-based feminist groups not to mention, local law enforcement officials. The artist plans to place himself in a room, the only entrance or exit being a 22 ft long plywood tunnel constructed by Whitehurst himself. Then he says that for the duration of the gallery???s opening (from 7:00 p.m. to midnight) he will rape anyone who travels through the tunnel into that room.

And so the controversy rumbles on...
I find myself having more sympathy with the odious Nick Griffin than I do the screeching, tedious, censorious, lefty morons who seem to think that it's up to them to decide what it is acceptable for other people to think.
Whether they like it or not, Nick Griffin is an elected member of the European Parliament and, as far as I can see, has every right to appear on Question Time.
Sometimes it seems to me that some people think that holding 'racist' views is the worst possible crime that can be committed.
And, in fact, it seems that some do. Here's Ken Livingstone at it in the Guardian. This is the same man that was quite happy for the IRA to appear on the same program. As far as I'm aware the BNP have neither bombed, tortured or murdered anyone...

Ah. Great excitement.
One group that believe in one variant of a fairy tale may switch to a different variant after the former tries to falsely recognise the equality of women.
I suppose if you are going to believe in complete nonsense there's no need to even maintain the pretense of consistency. That's the beauty of belief without evidence.
Such flexibility is to only be admired.

What a great song is Hey Jude? Narr, narr, narr, na-na-na-narrr, na-na-na-narr, Hey Jude. You know that :-).

Jenson Button's a piece of work isn't he?
After being given a practically invincible car for the first half of this season which was *solely* responsible for this championship 'result' will he be loyal to Ross Brawn and the team?
The team that stuck by him as he choked his way through the last 10 races being out-qualified and out-raced by Ruben Barichello! Rubens!
Will he fuck. World champion? World Cuntion more like. Whatever that means :-).
